Saturday’s Championship Match at US Open Cancelled, Rescheduled for Sunday Night

The 2008 US Open women’s singles final has been cancelled for Saturday evening.

Inclement weather has forced the USTA to postpone the match between Jelena Jankovic and Serena Williams overnight.

The 2008 US Open women’s singles final has been cancelled for Saturday evening.

Inclement weather has forced the USTA to postpone the match between Jelena Jankovic and Serena Williams overnight.

The women’s championship match is now scheduled to take place at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday, September 7.
