If you belong to the group that believes the off-season extends from the US Open to the Australian Open, you are missing out because the season still has many memorable highlights, including the Fed Cup final, two Tier I events in Tokyo and Moscow, and the season-ending Sony Ericsson Championships.

How about you? Are you a true fan or just a casual one?

Tennis Fanometer

A True Tennis Aficionado
You eat, sleep, and breath tennis—even during the off-season. No player in the Top 50 has an unfamiliar name, and you can recite your favorite player’s tournament history for the whole season.

Dedicated Fan
You watch Fed Cup ties, but once November rolls around, you start following football until the Australian Open.

Casual Fan
You can easily recognize Maria, Serena, and Venus, but although the names Agnieszka, Victoria, and Caroline ring a bell, you have never actually seen them play.

The Grand Slam Fan
You think the tennis season consists of only four tournaments—the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.

The Curious Fan
Your fellow golf club members dabble in the sport, so to have something to talk about next time on the links, you watch the championship match at Wimbledon.

Everyone, have a great weekend, and thank you for participating in the comments below!
