    I feel like this must be wrong. Venus playing in Acapulco? Clay? Before Miami? I could maybe see Monterrey- a hard court international level (with probably an appearance fee). But Acapulco? She must really want to win the French…

    Kurt, it is surprising to see her enter a clay court tournament so early, but remember, Venus is not going to play Indian Wells.

    She would have a whole month off the circuit between Dubai and Miami, if not for Acapulco.
