Time: You may want to hedge your bets a little on any definitive outcomes. Serena’s first match in Rome is against Patty Schnyder. In their two clay court matches Schnyder has defeated Williams both times (and both in three setters), in 2002 at Charleston and in 2007 at…Rome. But of course, Serena may have devised a solution since their last match. We’ll find out shortly.
