The French Tennis Federation has announced the list of women who will receive wild card entrance into the 2009 Roland Garros main draw.
The French Open begins on May 24 in Paris, France.
American Lauren Embree has received a wild card, along with Olivia Rogowska of Australia. They will join Frenchwomen Claire Feuerstein, Kinnie Laisne, Emilie Loit, Kristina Mladenovic, Irena Pavlovic and Olivia Sanchez in the singles main draw.
Qualifying wild cards were also awarded to Chloe Babet, Simona Halep, Florence Haring, Violette Huck, Karla Mraz, Laura Thorpe, Aurelie Vedy and Stephanie Vongsouthi.
