Live online coverage of the 2009 Wimbledon Championships is set to begin with the first ball struck at SW19 on Monday.
ESPN360.com will offer free internet streaming for USA fans throughout the Championships.
The network is scheduled to deliver live coverage of all courts (up to nine, depending on schedule of play) throughout the early rounds, and a total of nearly 650 hours of live coverage between opening day and the semi-finals – nearly doubling the total hours delivered last year.
ESPN360.com will also simulcast ESPN2’s nearly 100 hours of coverage and will have the Wimbledon Finals events on-demand the morning following competition.
The premium Wimbledon Live internet service will offer another choice for online streaming for fans outside the United States. Wimbledon Live will feature live coverage from six courts every day of the Championships. An All-Access pass, or a daily 24-hour pass can be purchased at the official Wimbledon website.
Due to broadcaster restrictions, the live streams from Wimbledon are not available in United States, Canada, Germany, Japan, Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and China (P.R.C. excluding Macau).
