Welcome to the new and improved OnTheBaseline.com!
Take a look at some of our new features that have been launched just in time for the 2010 Australian Open.
Improved website design
Our latest design borrows some of the best elements from our previous version, while still keeping the content the main focus of the site.
All new video section
Make On the Baseline’s new video section your primary destination for the latest official tennis video content.
Your Call
The old Open Forum Friday has been discontinued, but in its place comes an all-new fan-friendly section of the site called Your Call. Here, fans can vote in polls, participate in our “Caption This” photo essays, share opinions in our Q&A posts, and much more!
Coming Soon
Some parts of the new site are still in development, so keep your eye out for more improvements in the near future. Currently, our extensive archives are not yet available for browsing, but soon we’ll have them all available so you can search for past and present news on all your favorite players.
Also coming soon is a new ticker that will bring on-demand breaking news stories from the mainstream media and the latest innovation to be embraced by tennis, Twitter.
To our readers, thank you so much for your support of On the Baseline over the past four years! Enjoy the new site!
Special thanks to Adrian Diaconescu and DuoParadigms Media for their help with this project.

Aaress,
Love the new look of the site:>) It’s Hot!!
Fantastic job Aaress, looks great! So glad to see you going strong. Best resource around I say!
i submitted a comment and it was erased (by error I would say) leaving my e-mail address………Thanks
Hi Robert, what page did you leave a comment on? I don’t see where your email address was published.
Thank you, everyone, for your kind words! We appreciate it!
Aaress, congrats on the new design! Looks modern and professional. Keep up the great work!
Thank you, Marija!
I think the new nonlinear design makes the site harder to keep up with. If I’m going to visit OTB every day, then it would be easier to see a merged list of articles in chronological order (including the date and time that each article was published).
Also, I miss the “Latest Comments” section, which allowed me to check for new comments on articles I had already read and would not otherwise open again. So perhaps the date and author of the last comment on each article should be incorporated into the merged list that I suggest.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks so much for your comments! We’ll take a look at your suggestions. Appreciate it!
