Players at the US Open have not just been dazzlingly fans on the court at Flushing Meadows. Over the past week, they’ve also been showing off their witty and fun-loving personalities.

Caroline Wozniacki, Beatrice Capra, Jelena Jankovic, Francesca Schiavone, and Maria Sharapova are just a few of the players who have offered up spicy gems of wit and wisdom.

“Not yet, but maybe I should.”
USA hopeful Beatrice Capra on whether she has anything inscribed on her tennis shoes.

“I don’t know. Maybe you should, you know, sit Roger next to me and we can have that discussion.”
Kim Clijsters when questioned about the difference between being a married male or married female tennis player.
