The 2006 Championships at Wimbledon begins on June 26, 2006 and will be featuring the most talented ladies on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. Last year’s defending champion Venus Williams will be looking to continue the Williams Sisters’ dynasty at the All-England Club, but she will have to face a talented field that includes current world number one Amelie Mauresmo, Kim Clijsters, Justine Henin-Hardenne, and the 2004 Champion Maria Sharapova.
